Founder and CEO of Orion Cyber, a leading provider of technology assurance, advisory and professional certification training that helps organisations build digital trust. Katlego is an accredited trainer for ISACA’s CISA and CISM certifications and holds multiple professional credentials, including CISA, CISM and SAP certifications. He is also a trained ethical hacker and Quality Assurance & Improvement Programme assessor, actively serving in leadership roles such as Deputy Regional Governor at the Institute of Internal Auditors and ICT Steering Committee Chairperson at several municipalities.

With more than 30 years of experience in complex ICT and digital transformation projects, Karel leads broadband expansion, infrastructure development and the adoption of emerging technologies at Limpopo Connexion. He drives initiatives such as the Seshego Digital Hub and Artificial Intelligence Centre, promoting AI awareness, capacity-building and youth empowerment. Karel is a strong advocate for responsible AI, open-source solutions and cross-sector collaboration to support South Africa’s public-sector innovation agenda.

Motivational Address: Beyond the Bruises
Born in Ga-Maluilua, Ga-Mamabolo, Matome is an educator, storyteller and community advocate whose career spans roles from Post Level 1 Educator to Acting Deputy Principal in both Gauteng and Limpopo. He is the author of "Beyond the Bruises", a powerful work on the realities of gender-based violence that has been adapted into a stage production. A musician and former member of Steve Kekana’s touring band, Matome currently chairs Limpopo Authors Are Artists (AAA), using creativity and storytelling to uplift communities.
